As many of you know, the Livescribe 3 smartpen uses your companion tablet or smartphone to record audio (unlike the Echo smartpen where the recording is on-board the pen). Today for Australia and New Zealand we are launching the Livescribe 3 Black Edition smartpen. This new model has a different exterior featuring a very stylish matte black finish along with a new pocket clip which is made from glass-reinforced polymer. Overall the pen is slightly lighter than the existing Livescribe 3 models. Technically, this new model works the same as the existing LS3 models and will work with select iOS and Android devices. This model introduces a new Livescribe dot paper option – a top-bound notepad measuring 127x203mm. We’ll be introducing further notepads to the Livescribe dot paper range
